This is where Claude earns its keep. The more specific you are, the more time you'll save.

Warm and friendly Direct and to-the-point Professional but not stiff Casual and conversational Authoritative / expert A bit of humor when appropriate

Paste a sample of something you've written recently.

A real email, social post, or message. This teaches Claude how you actually sound. 2–3 paragraphs is plenty.

Are there words, phrases, or styles you'd never use?

"Synergy," "circle back," emojis, exclamation points, all caps — your "do not say" list.

6. Guardrails

What Claude should always check with you before doing.

Before Claude does any of these, it should pause and ask first:

What topics or types of information are completely off-limits?

Anything you don't want stored in Claude's workspace at all — sensitive client data, financial accounts, legal matters.
